Bay Hill Cat Hospital

Doctors Diane and Scott Delmain founded the Bay Hill Cat Hospital in 1996, and have been taking care of the cats and cat-people of southwestern Orlando ever since. Many people ask “Why just cats?” and the answer is simple.  Cats have special health needs and do best in a quiet medical environment tailored just for them. Our doctors decided to focus on knowledge of one aspect of veterinary medicine to provide better care for our patients. To this end, Diane became a board certified feline specialist, recognized by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. Diane’s passion for feline medicine and Scott’s interest in surgery and dentistry make a great combination and the practice continues to grow. In 2011, Dr. Kari joined the team, bringing fresh enthusiasm and ideas. The friendly, gentle staff is also very knowledgeable about feline health and issues.

The specialty of veterinary practice was established by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) – and is sanctioned by the American Veterinary Medical Association – to set standards for advanced professionalism in veterinary practice.

The objective of the ABVP is to promote and recognize high standards in the art and science of veterinary practice. By awarding Diplomate status, the ABVP recognizes individuals who have demonstrated that they are qualified to fill a unique and specific role in the delivery of state-of-the-art veterinary service. The certification process is very difficult, involving additional studies, case reports and examinations.

Our feline-oriented staff is dedicated to providing health care to cats.  Here you will find a team of committed, caring and experienced professionals who have the training and the special “cat-person” bond that drew them to this profession.

If you like, we encourage you to contact the hospital to arrange a no-obligation tour of the facility as a way of getting to know us. In the meantime, take a minute and get to know the members of our staff.
